I've been to more than a few treatment centers and found La Hacienda to be the best. They do a great job explaining the 12 step based program and more importantly, helped me realize there was life after drinking. LaHa did a good job with follow up afterwards. They have LaHa Outreach Centers all over Texas and other places which are good places to find sponsors after you've gone back home. The counselors and staff were cool as was the campus. A pretty campus, pool and good food are all well and good but LaHa did a good job at providing me medical detox, therapy and recovery services. I know this review sounds like they're paying me but they aren't, I'm just really happy with the services I recieved at LaHa. Looking back, probably the most important thing to my recovery has been a sober living situation which, for me, was a necessity after LaHa. Being in the Kerrville area, there are lots of sober houses for men and women. LaHa staff will take you out to see the different houses to get an idea of rent costs and meetings and stuff. Good luck with your journey and God bless. :)
